A game plan to be intentional fathers helping their kids follow Jesus
Friday, 7:00-9:00 pm - Saturday, 8:15-11:30am.
The role of fatherhood has never been so challenged. Kids need intentional fathers that are present, listening, and coaching them through life. The purpose of this workshop is to help fathers develop a masterplan to guide kids to know, love, and follow Jesus. All dad's can model Jesus and be equipped to shape their kids. Godly and gifted men will coach dads in the fundamentals. No one is meant to do this alone. Each of us needs a huddle of other dads that are following God’s blueprint together.
Friday evening will focus on God’s high calling for fathers and a vision for what God can do in your children.
Saturday morning will equip fathers with a playbook. They will be coached through specific plans that can implemented throughout the year. These include warm conversations, shared experiences, inspiring discoveries, and allied networking. All four of these were practiced by Jesus and have been field tested by many dads.
Coaches are men who have raised up children that follow Jesus and have given themselves to coaching other dads. They include:
- Doug Baker, CEO of “Living My Potential,” a Certified Coach for life and leadership
- Matthew Hanson, speaker, and coach to dads in how to have a winning game plan
- Jonathan Brown leads Lifeways 4 Living, a ministry aimed at shaping families
Open to all fathers in the community. Cost includes Friday snacks and Saturday breakfast.
