A special presentation by Opal Singleton Hendershot on the dangers associated with internet exploitation and cyber-bullying of children.

Opal will discuss the importance of being aware of the dangers of the internet and how to protect the safety of children learning to use the internet. She has extensive experience in working with law enforcement, families, and children identifying and deterring trafficking and cyber-intimidation. She consulted on movie “Sound of Freedom,” which details the life of a law enforcement officer who quits his job to rescue trafficking and kidnap victims in Colombia, and the horrors he witnessed. She will be outlining the latest efforts to combat the growing menace of online exploitation.

Opal Singleton Hendershot is the President and CEO of Million Kids, a non-profit organization serving as the Training and Outreach Coordinator for the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force. 

This event is open to all who are interested in how to keep children safe.
