The problem was clear - humanity was doomed due to their sin and separation from God, helpless to fix the problem. The nature of God was clear - He loves lost things and was intent on redeeming them. But what no one seemed to anticipate was HOW God’s love would meet our plight and how this would all occur at the intersection of who He is and what we needed most - rescue.
