Dear Trinity family,
This week has been an incredible time of loss and challenge for many throughout Southern California, and we continue to pray to our sovereign God for those who have lost loved ones, homes, or been temporarily displaced or without power. We also pray for the first responders who have put themselves in harm’s way to help those in need. Many of you have also already responded to the needs of others around you in Jesus’ name, with compassion and generosity. Thank you as well. This pleases our Lord greatly.
At this time, we want to let you know that our Trinity campus is without power and has been since Wednesday. However, we are praying for the power to be back in time for “Plan A” — our normal Sunday services and classes at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
On the off chance that Trinity is still without power, we have a “Plan B” ready to go. This plan still includes our two worship services, as well as Trinity Kids classes, but we will, of course, have some power-related modifications to make in those settings.
We will let you know what the plan is for Sunday (Plan A or Plan B) by tomorrow, January 11, at Noon via text, email, and app notification, if subscribed accordingly. Please be on the lookout for that communication tomorrow by Noon.
One other very significant thing, regardless of which plan we end up using on Sunday, is that we have decided to postpone the Trinity Debt Free Celebration until next Sunday, January 19, to allow more of our church family to participate.
Finally, if you need prayer for anything this week, please let us know using the Trinity prayer page. We would love to pray for you.
In Christ’s great love, Pastor Doug
